With more than five decades of experience in orthopaedic surgery, he has dedicated his career to advancing patient care, surgical excellence, medical education, and healthcare innovation. His vision of delivering world-class, multidisciplinary healthcare under one roof led to the establishment of Devadoss Hospital, which has grown into one of South India’s leading multispecialty healthcare institutions.

Professional Journey
Prof. Dr. Devadoss began his medical education at Madurai Medical College, where he graduated with distinction and received the Gold Medal in Medicine. Driven by a passion for orthopaedics, he pursued advanced surgical training in the United Kingdom, earning prestigious qualifications from Liverpool, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
Following his return to India, he served as Associate Professor and later Professor of Orthopaedics at Madurai Medical College, playing a significant role in training future generations of orthopaedic surgeons before founding his own institute and, later, Devadoss Hospital.
